Namaste from Chapel Pilates and Yoga Studio
Based in the Wylye Valley we provide experienced instruction to build strength and balance for fitness and healing. Individual, group and online classes are available, including use of our fully equipped private studio.
Due to the Coronovirus and resulting Government restrictions Chapel Pilates have postponed all Studio Sessions, Group Classes and Workshops. We will update this site when our classes re-open. We have introduced 'Chapel Pilates ONLINE' to provide Individual Instruction, Live Yoga and Pilates Group Classes, and a series of Online Videos. More information is provided at the 'Online Classes' page.
Health & Fitness
Pilates and Yoga are Mind and Body workouts for all ages and abilities. Classes focus on controlled movements, breathing and concentration of the mind. Regular participation can increase flexibility, strength and tone, and enhance respiration, vitality and posture.
Healing & Rehabilitation
Pilates was developed to rehabilitate, improving core strength and decreases pain. Chapel Pilates experience includes:
- Back-pain & spinal issues such as scoliosis, Ankylosing Spondylitis and Stenosis;
- Shoulder, knee & hip rehabilitation;
- Arthritis & low bone density issues;
- Neurological conditions.
Pilates has been well known to the dance world for over 50 years as Joseph Pilates worked closely with world renowned dancers. The Sports and Athletic world have recognised the benefits of Pilates, including famous sportspeople such as Tiger Woods and Venus Williams. Pilates has been noted to improved the athletes ability and technique and reduce the risk of injury.

Anna integrates an awareness of body, breath and movement, to promote an understanding of the interdependency of all these aspects in your personal health and wellbeing. Equipment pilates is a full body-conditioning program comprised of a series of over 500 designed movements.
Group Mat Classes
Yoga & Pilates
Anna leads a variety of yoga and pilates group classes in the local areas. Her classes are run for a variety of ages, experience and abilities. Mat classes are a great way to learn the fundamental principles of Pilates & Yoga. Yoga & Pilates improve strength, flexibility, balance, control and muscular symmetry. The rhythmic exercises promote elongated and toned muscles, and are noted for developing abdomen, lower back and buttocks strength, and create a strong body core.
